Jessica is a graduate from MC College’s Hairstyling program. As our graduate and a Journeyman certified Hairstylist, she has come full circle. From 2008 to 2013, she was a Hairstyling Instructor. Jessica has completed the Instructors Development Program through the National Association of Career Colleges, and has completed workshops on leadership and conflict resolution skills. In addition to her Hairstyling background, Jessica is a Certified Production Accountant through the Canadian Association of Petroleum Production Accounting program at SAIT. Before returning to the MC Team, Jessica worked at Imperial Oil as a Payable Analyst, and worked her way up from Stylist to General Manager at Great Clips. 

Diana OpdenDries, Administrator

Diana graduated with an Esthetics Diploma in 2013. She also attended Red Deer College where she majored in Psychology in the Bachelor of Arts program. From Esthetician to Spa owner and Instructor, she has worked at West Park Studio and Spa in Red Deer, and at Stone House Spa in Sylvan Lake. Throughout her career, Diana has obtained certification in lash extensions through International Beauty Services and Madame Lash, and body sugaring through Alexandria Professional.  She also has sales, inventory and managerial experience working in retail stores such as Suzy Shier, Pseudio Clothing, La Senza and Quark Shoes.

Taryn is a graduate from MC College’s fashion program in Edmonton. Her love of fashion started at a young age. Growing up, she remembers filling sketchbooks with fashion sketches and fabric swatches. Since graduating, she has worked in retail and sales at Simons, and Scotch & Soda.

Sarah is a Red Seal certified Hairstylist with over 14 years of experience in the industry. Prior to MC College, Sarah worked at Great Clips for 11 years. She has gained valuable knowledge by attending industry seminars such as Redken’s advanced color and styling class, barbering workshop hosted by Phillip Elliott and a Great Clips salon management course. As a Hairstyling Instructor, Sarah looks forward to helping students gain the confidence and technical skills they need in Hairstyling.

Diane Lusby, Hairstyling Instructor

Diane is a Red Seal certified Hairstylist with over 19 years of experience. Since graduating with a Hairstyling Diploma, she has worked at Accentric Hair Gallery as a Master Stylist and at Aria Salon/Spa as a Stylist. “Beauty has always been a passion for me. I knew this was right for me from the first time I held shears”. Diane previously worked at MC College from 2010 to 2012 as a Hairstyling Instructor. “I’m excited to be sharing my passion for the hair industry with others who are hungry to learn all about pursuing a career in the field of hairstyling”. Diane has taken advanced cutting and colouring classes with Toni & Guy, Goldwell and Schwarzkopf.

Dragana Rowlandson, Hairstyling Instructor

Dragana is a graduate from MC College’s hairstyling program. She has taken advanced color courses with Redken and product knowledge training with AG, Paul Mitchell and Dermalogica. From master stylist to barber, she has worked at Tommy Guns, Chatters and DC Hair. 

Judy Craveiro, Esthetics Instructor

What's on your bucket list? To visit São Miguel in the Açores where my family is from
Judy graduated with an Esthetics and Hairstyling diploma in Halifax. Soon after graduating in 2010, she started her career at Chatters as an Esthetician and worked her way up as a Service Manager. In 2013, Judy placed in the top three for a Chatters regional makeover competition. She has completed advanced training through Dermalogica, nail art class through Mindy Hardy and workshops focused on marketing and building a clientele.

Destiny Normand, Esthetics Instructor

What's on your bucket list? travel to Finland
Destiny is a graduate from MC College’s Esthetics program. She has extensive knowledge and advanced training in many areas including: microdermabrasions, chemical peels, CoolSculpting, KineLift, DermaLift, iontophoresis and sonophoresis. Prior to joining the MC College team, she was a Medical Esthetician at the Age Management Institute. From 2010 to 2014, she was a Manager, Educator and Esthetician at Skoah Spa. Destiny has completed an advanced skincare workshop through Dermalogica and has traveled to San Francisco, California to attend a CoolSculpting workshop

Shara Lundie, Salon and Spa Coordinator

Shara has an esthetics diploma from Demi International beauty Academy in Australia. In addition to her Esthetics diploma, she is a certified makeup artist through Jan Iredale. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, she has worked as a senior esthetician at Fairmont Jasper and a salon manager at Universal Hair studios.
