Crystal brings with her over 20 years of experience in the Beauty Industry. Before moving into the role of Director, she was a Hairstyling Instructor, Salon/Spa Coordinator and Administrator. Crystal has participated in several master colour classes through Artego, Goldwell Trilogy and Wella. Crystal has completed the NACC Instructor Development Program - Levels 1 and 2.

Originally from Vernon, Gabriella moved to Calgary, Alberta for several years. She is now back in the Okanagan where she is working towards a Bachelor of Human Resources and Labor Relations degree from Athabasca University. Before joining the MC Team, she worked in the administration and student services department at Robertson College and CDI College.

Favorite food: I love a charcuterie board...so many options, so good with friends and a glass of wine.
Beauty must have product: Sunscreen and moisturizer...have to combat the signs of aging any way I can!
 
Kym has been in the salon industry for over 15 years. Realizing her need for a fast-paced and creative career, she enrolled in a hairstyling program. After watching her mentor at a platform show, Kym was inspired to specialize in hair color. She has worked at salons such as Excel, Mirror Mirror, Front Shop and West Coast Beauty. In addition, she was a business consultant for Loreal Professional and an educator at Pureology.  Throughout her career, she has completed advanced colour classes and product knowledge seminars with Dikson, Loreal, Joico and Pureology. She has travelled to Las Vegas to attend an advanced cutting and styling class through HairBrained.

Lindy is a graduate from MC College’s Hairstyling program. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, she has taken advanced colour classes through Aveda, Tigi, Pureology and L’Oreal. In addition, she has taken several MAC cosmetics master classes. Since graduating, she has worked at Loyal Hair Therapy, and has been freelancing in hair and makeup since 2006. Her portfolio includes, doing makeup for presenters at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.

Carlee is a graduate from MC College’s Hairstyling program. Since graduating, she has worked at Gini’s Hair and Day Spa, Bangs Hair Studio and Curl Up & Dye Salon. Her passion for the industry led her back to MC College to help educate future Stylists. “I am so excited to see the stepping stones that the students will walk through. Watching them grow is so special and rewarding”. With over 7 years of experience as a Hairstylist, Carlee has taken master classes through Artego, Big Sexy Hair and International luxury Hair.

While completing her esthetics training, Tracey gained experience working at a nail salon. Upon graduation, she was offered a full time position at Amici’s Hair & Body Spa working exclusively with BioSculpture and Dermalogica products. In addition, Tracey owned and operated a skin spa, called Prrr.  Throughout her career, she has taken advanced courses in microdermabrasion, LED light treatment, electrotherapy and microblading. Tracey has also completed 'Mindful Teaching' courses and WHMIS training.

Chelsea is a MC College graduate from the Esthetics program in Kelowna. After graduating, she moved to Calgary to work at Esthetica Spa and Diva Hair Salon/Spa. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, she has completed certification in lash extensions, advanced nail sculpting through Premiere Nail Source and IBD, and product knowledge through Footlogix.

Jana received her make up artistry certificate from MC College. With over 15 years of experience as a freelance make-up artist, she enjoys keeping up to date on make up and fashion trends. As a Salon and Spa Coordinator, she looks forward to helping students hone their sales and communication skills.

Kerry graduated from MC College’s Esthetics program at the top of the class. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, she has worked at Beyond Wrapture and Total E’clips Salon/ Spa, and owned the award wining salon and spa, Mirror Mirror, for 8 years. Throughout her career, she has taken workshops and classes in retail management, massage therapy and reflexology.
